Job summary

Gigantes Group is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead utility-scale asset development across the West Region, with a primary focus on CAISO and Desert Southwest power markets. You will drive the full lifecycle from origination through permitting, interconnection, and de-risking for COD, managing a regional portfolio of solar, wind, and storage projects.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in utility-scale renewable energy development; senior-level for 10+ years.
• Proven track record across solar, wind or BESS in Western U.S. markets.
• Strong knowledge of interconnection processes and project economics.
• Collaborative, self-starter with ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle development of a regional renewables portfolio (solar preferred).
• Manage interconnection strategies, CAISO/WECC queue management and studies.
• Oversee permitting and CEQA/NEPA across jurisdictions and public hearings.
• Direct land acquisition and site evaluation for grid-scale deployment.
• Maintain financial models, budgets, and PPA inputs to support FID.
• Coordinate with engineering, GIS, regulatory, finance and external partners.
