Job summary

RWE Americas seeks a Senior Manager, Utility Scale Development in Illinois to lead the portfolio of solar, wind, and battery storage projects in the US and Canada. You will own development from greenfield to COD, chair cross-functional teams, and drive due diligence, land control, interconnection, permitting, and financing efforts.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and senior stakeholder presentations, mentor junior staff, and help shape regional strategy while traveling up to 50% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business/economics, environmental science, or relevant fields.
• Exceptional project management skills and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop a portfolio of utility-scale Solar, Wind and Energy Storage projects from greenfield to start of construction.
• Serve as project lead, managing large cross-functional project teams.
• Manage the full project lifecycle including due diligence, land control, permitting, interconnection, energy yield and financing.
