Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr Asset Onboarding Manager to lead the transition of utility-scale renewable projects from Construction to Operations, coordinating PPA and ISO market registrations to ensure smooth handover and operational readiness.

You will manage cross-functional teams, track critical milestones, and optimize onboarding workflows for solar, wind, and BESS assets while aligning with Commercial Ops and Asset Management. Strong PM and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degrees in Engineering or Business and Finance.
• Project Management certification is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of proven experience.
• Renewable Energy Industry: Utility-Scale experience on solar/wind/BESS >20MW; Asset Management or EPC background.
• ISO/RTO Grid Integration experience with market registrations for major ISO/RTOs.
• PPA operationalization and understanding of complex PPAs and hedge contracts.
• Cross-functional coordination in matrix environments; ability to lead by influence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding activities across internal and external teams for PPA and ISO onboarding during transition from Construction to Operations.
• Maintain master project transition schedule and track dependencies between construction milestones and contractual obligations.
• Lead regular alignment meetings between Construction, Engineering, Operations, Commercial Ops, Market Operations and Asset Management to synchronize onboarding timelines.
• Serve as primary contact for resolving cross-departmental bottlenecks affecting project timelines.
• Coordinate collection, indexing, and transfer of as-built drawings, operation manuals, and warranties to long-term O&M teams.
