RWE Americas, LLC seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead and coordinate preconstruction activities for utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects. You will oversee engineering, permitting, interconnection, and scope development to ensure projects are fully designed and ready for construction.

The role requires collaboration across internal teams and external engineers, with emphasis on schedule discipline, risk mitigation, and value engineering to minimize costs and avoid delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy construction, engineering, and project management; PMP preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage customer relationships.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate preconstruction activities including engineering, permitting, interconnection, and scope development.
• Direct internal and third‑party engineers to produce geotechnical, civil, HV, PV, and BESS designs with schedule control.
• Coordinate surveys and site data collection to support accurate engineering design.
• Monitor design progress and enforce milestones to enable bidding and award.
• Facilitate cost optimization and value engineering to reduce project costs.
