Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr Asset Management Associate to join our Asset Management team, responsible for the profitable operation of wind, solar and storage assets across a >12 GW portfolio. You will work with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to optimize performance and drive cost efficiencies.

You will analyze KPIs, support budgeting and forecasting, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve asset value while ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years proven experience in renewable energy sector.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Asset Manager in driving profitability of wind, solar and storage assets by analyzing performance.
• Support development and execution of cost-reduction or performance optimization strategies.
• Monitor asset KPIs and perform trend analysis to detect performance issues and maximize operational performance.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and asset-level financials to identify opportunities and risks.
• Manage vendor/service provider relationships and assist in contract alignment reviews.
• Provide detailed reporting and insights to internal stakeholders on performance.
