Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join our team working on Cyberpunk 2. You will develop rendering solutions and optimizations using Unreal Engine 5 to help designers and artists achieve the game’s vision.

You will collaborate with engineers and artists to push visual fidelity in a large open-world environment, focusing on performance, memory efficiency, and real-time rendering breakthroughs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in graphics or rendering.
• Experience on AAA console titles using Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with in-depth graphics knowledge.
• Proficient in Unreal Engine 5 or equivalent engine.
• Knowledge of modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architectures.
• Multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan).
• Experience with debugging tools like RenderDoc.
• Strong profiling and optimization skills.
• Good communication and ownership mindset.
• Proactive in helping the team accelerate work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing graphics systems for improved performance and memory utilization.
• Work with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for a large-scale open-world environment.
• Assist art teams in bringing characters and a cyberpunk world to life with high runtime fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU.
