CorVel Corporation is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to manage complex Workers’ Compensation claims, coordinate with case managers and attorneys, and oversee subrogation and settlements. This remote role emphasizes timely communication with clients and claimants and adherence to state laws and CorVel guidelines.

You will develop action plans with the team, establish reserves, and monitor costs while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance across the Claims Department.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of workers' compensation claims experience.
• Self-Insured Certificate preferred.
• State certification or license as an experienced claims adjuster required.
• Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation maintained throughout employment.

Mansioni

• Receives Workers’ Compensation claim, confirms policy coverage and acknowledgement of the claim.
• Determines validity and compensability by investigating and gathering information.
• Establishes reserves and authorizes payments within limits.
• Develops action plans with the case manager to reduce costs.
• Coordinates early return‑to‑work efforts with parties.
• Manages subrogation and litigation where applicable.
• Reports claims to the excess carrier when applicable.
• Communicates claim status with customer and claimant.
• Adheres to guidelines and participates in claims reviews as needed.
• Develops and maintains professional customer relationships.
