Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Workday Application Developer for a 100% remote role in the United States. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Workday technical experience, deep expertise in Workday report writer, and strong skills in configuration, calculated fields, and security.

This full-time role requires collaboration across HR, finance, and IT, with opportunities to mentor teammates and influence production-quality Workday deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Five or more years of Workday technical experience.
• Deep expertise in Workday report writer including advanced and composite reports.
• Strong proficiency with calculated fields across HCM and Finance.
• Hands-on experience configuring business processes and condition rules.
• Strong understanding of Workday security framework.
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend.
• Familiarity with Workday tenant management and release process.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure Workday with required business rules, reports, and configurations.
• Design and develop complex Workday reports and calculated fields.
• Support integration and extension work using Workday Extend and PRISM Analytics.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into Workday solutions.
• Conduct code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Deliver production-ready Workday configurations and reports with quality and reliability.
