Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Workday Platform Engineer for a fully remote US-based role. You will leverage deep Workday expertise to configure, report, and extend the Workday platform supporting HR, finance, and IT stakeholders.

The role emphasizes engineering discipline, clear communication, and mentorship of junior engineers. 6+ years of experience is expected, with a full-time, direct W2 employment model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Five or more years of Workday technical experience.
• Deep expertise in Workday report writer including advanced and composite reports.
• Strong proficiency with calculated fields across HCM and Finance.
• Hands-on experience configuring business processes and condition rules.
• Strong understanding of Workday security framework.
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend.
• Familiarity with Workday tenant management and release process.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure Workday with technical design and configuration.
• Create custom reports and calculated fields for HR, finance, and IT stakeholders.
• Support integrations and lightweight WorkdayExtend developments.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations and business teams to translate requirements into robust Workday configurations.
