Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Workday Developer to work remotely in the U.S. You will design, configure, and optimize Workday across HCM and Finance, including reports, calculated fields, and extensible applications.

You will partner with product, design, engineering, and operations to translate business needs into robust Workday solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and aligning with upgrade plans and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of Workday technical experience.
• Deep expertise in Workday report writer including advanced and composite reports.
• Strong proficiency with calculated fields across HCM and Finance.
• Hands-on experience configuring business processes and condition rules.
• Strong understanding of Workday security framework.
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend.
• Familiarity with Workday tenant management and release process.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex calculated fields, custom reports, and advanced reports using the Workday report writer.
• Create and maintain composite, matrix, and dashboard reports for business decisions.
• Configure and manage business processes, condition rules, and approvals in HCM and Finance.
• Develop Workday Extend applications and PRISM analytics where applicable.
• Build report-based data integrations and support data export needs.
• Configure security domains, role-based security, and segment-based security.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, and finance to translate requirements into configurations.
• Document business processes, calculations, and security models.
• Support tenant refreshes, regression testing, and platform release adoption.
• Troubleshoot production config and reports with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with integration developers on data flows from reports.
• Provide guidance on Workday best practices and patterns.
• Engage in Workday community for insights and adoption.
