SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility-scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide.

The role leads the in-house SCADA design for renewable energy projects, using AutoCAD, Visio, and allied design tools to create comprehensive diagrams, wiring, and network layouts. You will standardize design practices, mentor engineers, and partner with OT teams on hardware requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or related engineering preferred.
• Direct experience in SCADA engineering.
• Experience drafting SCADA, networking, electrical drawings.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Advanced knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking concepts.
• Experience with SCADA hardware, wiring diagrams, and FATs.

Aufgaben

• Lead SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.
• Produce high-quality drawings and resolve complex technical issues.
• Define and improve SCADA design standards and practices.
• Review project scope, approve BOMs and diagrams.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with OT teams on hardware requirements and cross-functional reviews.
• Lead FATs and customer-facing design reviews.
• Ensure NERC compliance and safety in design.
