Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Senior Analytic Consultant to join the IHD Insights-as-a-Service team. You will work on Panalgo data assets, applying epidemiologic methods, HEOR, and predictive analytics to real-world data to support life sciences use cases.

You will manage client relationships, translate study protocols into IHD projects, and deliver actionable insights using SQL, R, Python, or SAS across claims, lab, EMR, and SDOH sources, in a remote US setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of real-world data experience in outcomes research or life sciences consulting.
• Strong understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem and data sources.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and programming languages for analysis.
• Ability to independently own client relationships and advise strategically.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships as the primary contact, communicating with senior and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advise on study design, data source selection, and analytical approach across concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define requirements.
• Translate study protocols into IHD projects from cohort definition to analytic output.
• Own end-to-end quality control across claims, lab, EMR/EHR, and SDOH data.
• Apply domain knowledge across therapeutic areas and real-world data assets.
• Write and adapt code in R, Python, SAS, or SQL for efficient, reproducible solutions.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data; maintain data documentation and lineage.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
