Job summary

Norstella, via Panalgo’s IHD Insights-as-a-Service, seeks a Senior Analytic Consultant to lead analytic engagements using real-world data across claims, lab, EMR, and SDOH sources. You will independently manage client relationships, design studies, and translate protocols into actionable analytic outputs.

You will apply epidemiology and HEOR methods, write code in SQL/R/Python/SAS, and ensure data quality while collaborating with clinicians and data scientists to deliver insights that advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field such as epidemiology, biostatistics, HEOR, health services research, public health, statistics or CS.
• 3+ years of hands-on real-world data experience in outcomes research or life sciences consulting.
• Understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem and real-world data sources.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Ability to own client relationships and provide strategic advisory.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships as the primary contact, communicating with senior, non-technical stakeholders.
• Advise on study design, data source selection, and analytic approaches across concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define requirements and deliver insights.
• Translate study protocols into IHD projects from cohort definition to analytic output.
• Ensure end-to-end quality control using claims, lab, EMR/EHR, and SDOH data.
• Write and adapt medium-to-complex code in R, Python, SAS, or SQL for reproducible solutions.
