Job summary

Norstella, through Panalgo, seeks a Senior Analytic Consultant to join the IHD Insights‑as‑a‑Service team. You will work on Panalgo and IHD projects, delivering advisory services and applying ML and predictive analytics to real‑world data (claims, lab, EMR, SDOH) for biopharmaceutical and life sciences clients.

Responsibilities include managing client relationships, advising on study design, and collaborating with clinicians, data scientists, and statisticians to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., epidemiology, biostatistics, health economics, health services research, public health, statistics, computer science)
• 3+ years of professional, hands-on experience with real-world data in outcomes research, HEOR, epidemiology, or life sciences consulting
• Understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem and real-world data sources
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Demonstrated ability to independently own client relationships and provide strategic advisory
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with creative problem-solving and strategic thinking
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships as the primary point of contact, communicating clearly with senior and non-technical stakeholders
• Advise clients on study design, data source selection, and analytical approach, managing expectations across concurrent projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights
• Translate study protocols into IHD projects from cohort definition through analytic output
• Own end-to-end quality control, applying deep knowledge of claims, lab, EMR/EHR, and SDOH data to guide implementation decisions
• Apply deep knowledge across multiple therapeutic areas and real-world data assets, onboarding to new areas quickly
• Write and adapt medium-to-complex code in R, Python, SAS, or SQL, delivering efficient and reproducible solutions
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats for analysis, ensuring data quality
• Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, mappings, and lineage
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights
