Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accountant to join our team remotely, preferably in Central or Eastern time zones. You will assist with project cost accounting and reporting, acting as a liaison between operations and corporate accounting, and supporting monthly invoicing and collections.

The role requires 7+ years of project accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint or an ERP system. A CMA/CPA is preferred but not mandatory; salaries range with benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• CMA or CPA preferred but not required.
• 7+ years of corporate project accounting experience.
• Prior project accounting in architecture/engineering/construction preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint preferred, ERP experience required.
• Must have AP full cycle exposure.
• Mergers and acquisitions experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project cost accounting and reporting.
• Act as liaison between operations and accounting functions.
• Aid in review and analysis of KPIs for operations management."
• Reconcile and analyze project cost reports for timely reporting.
• Support Regional Controller with account reports and collections.
• Coordinate project billers and project managers for accurate project setups and procedures.
• Maintain client budgets, consultant budgets, scope, pricing, and change orders.
