Job summary

ClearCaptions, LLC is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage multi-state payroll, timekeeping, deductions, and tax compliance in a fully remote environment across the United States.

You will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, ensure accurate and timely processing in Dayforce, handle year-end reporting and W-2s, maintain confidential records, and continuously improve payroll processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible payroll experience.
• Experience in multi-state payroll, timekeeping, and deductions.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax requirements.
• Experience with payroll tax reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processing.
• Experience maintaining confidential employee payroll records in Dayforce.

Responsibilities

• Manage biweekly timekeeping, payroll, and benefit deductions.
• Prepare federal, state, local payroll tax returns and W-2 processing.
• Audit payroll results and reconcile discrepancies before finalization.
• Maintain confidential employee payroll records in Dayforce.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and managers.
• Support payroll calendar and deadlines.
