Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor 2 to handle processing and pre-underwriting for residential loans. You will coordinate files from receipt to submission to Closing, communicate with borrowers and loan officers, and manage a pipeline to meet deadlines.

The role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Prior mortgage processing experience and knowledge of loan guidelines are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated residential mortgage processing or experience fulfilling roles such as Processor, Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Officer, Closer, or equivalent mortgage operations position.

Responsibilities

• Processes FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loans.
• Reviews loan documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicates status to borrowers, loan officers, and partners to meet closing deadlines.
• Maintains and manages an assigned pipeline to ensure timely processing.
