Job summary

Leoforce is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment attorney for a remote role serving California matters. The incumbent will advise management-side clients on wage-and-hour issues and PAGA, and lead as first- or second-chair in state and federal litigation, with travel as needed.

This role supports a nationwide litigation practice and involves collaboration with a DC-based team. The ideal candidate has senior-level experience, CA Bar admission, and a portable book of business, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission; willingness to submit DC Bar waiver before start.
• 5+ years of substantive labor and employment litigation experience with CA wage-and-hour exposure.
• Senior Associate, Counsel or Partner with portable book of business; Partners: $250k+.

Responsibilities

• Advise management-side clients on California employment law, wage-and-hour issues and PAGA compliance.
• Lead as first- or second-chair in California state and federal court litigation and arbitration; travel as needed.
• Defend EEO, discrimination, harassment, restrictive covenant and retaliation claims.
• Support the firm's nationwide commercial litigation practice, including contracts and government contracts.
• Collaborate with DC-based partners to share travel and client work as needed.
