BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Senior Employment Litigation Attorney for a fully remote position focused on sophisticated employment defense matters for employers across industries in California. The role emphasizes autonomy in managing high-impact litigation and building strong client relationships while delivering exceptional legal outcomes.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active California bar membership in good standing.
• 7+ years of California employment defense litigation experience.
• Extensive knowledge of California employment law.
• Experience defending PAGA claims.
• Ability to independently manage litigation through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in California labor and employment litigation from inception to resolution.
• Defend PAGA, wage/hour, FEHA, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination claims.
• Manage all phases of litigation: discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, settlement, court appearances.
• Provide strategic advice on compliance, policies, employee relations, and risk management.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, memoranda, employment agreements, and related documents.

Duties

• Represent employers in California labor and employment litigation from inception through resolution.
• Defend claims involving PAGA, wage and hour disputes, FEHA matters, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other employment-related claims.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, settlement negotiations, and court appearances.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel on employment law compliance, workplace policies, employee relations issues, and risk management.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, employment agreements, and other legal documents.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 7+ years of California employment defense litigation experience.
• Extensive knowledge of California employment law.
• Experience defending PAGA claims.
• Proven ability to independently manage litigation matters through resolution.
