Job summary

Larson Maddox is seeking a seasoned Employment Litigation Special Counsel for a fully remote role. The attorney will handle complex workplace disputes, advise employer clients, and collaborate with a national labor and employment practice.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in labor and employment law, a JD from an accredited school, and an active U.S. license. Remote work, flexible platform, and competitive compensation available with bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school (must be admitted to practice).
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 8+ years of employment law and litigation experience.
• Experience handling employment litigation and agency matters (EEOC/state).
• Familiarity with EPLI claims and carrier-related matters is a plus.
• Strong written advocacy, oral communication, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment litigation through all phases of the case lifecycle (pleadings, discovery, motions, resolution).
• Represent employers in state and federal court on discrimination, retaliation, wage/hour, and leave issues.
• Manage responses to EEOC and state agency complaints and other proceedings.
• Counsel employers on day-to-day workplace issues, compliance, and risk management.
• Advise clients and insurers on EPLI-related claims and strategy.
• Conduct workplace investigations and assist with policies and procedures.
• Draft and review motions, briefs, and settlement documents.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on evolving employment law developments.
