Larson Maddox is partnering with a leading global technology company to hire an experienced employment attorney for its U.S. legal team. The role encompasses employment counseling, employee relations, investigations, and broad litigation responsibilities.

The attorney will collaborate closely with HR and legal leadership, advising on day-to-day matters while shaping the strategy of the employment law function within a large, complex organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience focused on employment law and litigation.
• J.D. from a strong academic institution and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong experience advising on U.S. employment law matters and partnering directly with HR.
• Sound judgment and the ability to independently manage matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative approach with HR and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to take ownership beyond a narrowly defined area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, day-to-day employment law counseling to HR and business stakeholders across a broad range of employee relations matters.
• Partner with HR on workplace investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, terminations, and separation agreements.
• Manage employment-related administrative matters, including EEOC complaints, Department of Labor investigations, subpoenas, and document requests.
• Support employment litigation and dispute strategy, including management and oversight of outside counsel.
• Develop and improve employment law training, processes, and resources across the organization.
• Partner with other employment counsel to provide guidance on complex matters and contribute to the overall strategy of the employment practice.
