Ogletree Deakins has multiple opportunities for attorneys with 7+ years of labor & employment experience to join the firm as remote Counsel on a non-shareholder track.

The Counsel attorney will focus on advising a specific group of clients on employment-law matters, including hiring, leave issues, policies, discipline, and wage-hour, and will develop webinars and client-facing documents. The role allows full remote work from any location, with residency in a state where the firm has an office.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor licensed to practice law in any state and maintain licensure.
• 7+ years of employment law experience advising clients on employment-law matters.
• Experience conducting trainings and drafting/revising employment-related policies and forms.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on employment-law matters including hiring, leave, policies and practices, discipline and wage-hour issues.
• Develop and conduct recorded webinars on employment-law topics.
• Draft/revise policies, handbooks, forms, checklists and other client documents.
