Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Database Administrator III for a remote/nationwide role. You will be responsible for production and non-production databases supporting enterprise needs, providing guidance on database solutions, and ensuring high availability and reliability across systems.

You will perform T-SQL tuning, configure and maintain SQL Server environments, manage backups and restores, and collaborate with operations, developers, and auditors to meet SLAs and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production and/or non-production databases with enterprise impact.
• Ability to guide operations and technical administration.
• Experience with creating and managing SQL Server environments.

Responsibilities

• T-SQL tuning to resolve production issues using SQL Server and tools.
• Configure, script, install, monitor, upgrades, and administer DBMS.
• Meet SLAs for internal and external clients.
• Off-hours production support and 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Communicate with technical, business and auditors.
• Backups and point-in-time restores; maintenance plans.
• Support SDLC and train junior DBAs.
