Job summary

LogistiQ is seeking a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop, and support automation solutions for engineered-to-order conveyor and material-handling systems. This remote-friendly role positions you as Lead Engineer from order release through startup, collaborating with mechanical, software, and field teams.

You will size motors and drives, develop control software, and create schematics and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in engineered-to-order OEM automation.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, PC-based automation hardware and software.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 and NFPA 79.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify automation, control, and integration solutions for engineered-to-order sortation and material-handling systems.
• Design project-specific control and integration architectures for high-speed sortation and conveying systems.
• Interpret customer specifications and system layouts to deliver integrated automation designs.
• Perform electrical and automation calculations to size motors, drives, power distribution, and control components.
