Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer I for a remote role to design and oversee control systems for industrial material handling solutions. You will lead teams on large projects, develop PLC programs, and ensure seamless integration with HMI/SCADA systems.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in electrical engineering and at least 6 years of automation experience, with strong proficiency in Allen-Bradley and Schneider PLCs and AutoCAD Electrical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley controls/controllers and Schneider PLCs.
• Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical CAD software.
• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Designs control systems for industrial material handling solutions, including concept development and specification creation.
• Leads large projects or multiple smaller projects, providing guidance and training to less experienced team members.
• Develops and implements PLC programs, ensuring integration with HMI and SCADA systems.
• Prepares detailed schematics, device layouts, and control panel specifications using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Conducts prototype development, testing, and on-site beta testing to verify safety, reliability, and performance standards.
