Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated control systems for diverse clients. The role emphasizes remote collaboration, strong plc/HMI expertise, and leadership in project delivery.

You will work with Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider platforms, develop SCADA solutions, and ensure safety standards. This remote position offers flexibility and opportunities for professional growth in industrial automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial electrical automation and control systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI development across multiple platforms.
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, panel design, and industrial wiring.
Experience with SCADA systems and data acquisition.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Experience with robotic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical control system architectures for industrial automation projects.
Program and configure PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric) and HMIs.
Specify and integrate industrial sensors, actuators, and instrumentation.
Develop and implement industrial network solutions (e.g., Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
Perform electrical design tasks, including schematic creation and panel layout.
Troubleshoot and debug automation systems, providing timely resolution to issues.
Collaborate with clients to understand their automation needs and provide technical guidance.
Develop comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test reports.
Ensure all designs and implementations comply with safety standards and industry best practices.
Stay current with the latest advancements in automation technology and propose innovative solutions.
