JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Controls, Automation & Integration Design Engineer is responsible for the engineered-to-order design, development, and support of automation, electrical control, and integration solutions for OEM sortation, conveyor, and material-handling systems. This role works from customer order requirements, specifications, and system layouts to develop complete, project-specific automation and integration solutions, including control circuitry, program logic, and system interfaces.
Engineers in this position work independently and are frequently assigned full responsibility for customer orders as a Lead Engineer, owning the controls, automation, and integration scope from order release through manufacturing, testing, installation, and startup.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Professional office environment within a manufacturing setting, with frequent interaction on the shop floor. Exposure includes moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, variable noise levels, and seasonal temperature fluctuations.
