Job summary

LogistiQ is seeking a skilled Electrical and Controls Technician to provide field services for conveyor systems. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and control systems at customer facilities, working remotely with customers and vendors to ensure on-time and quality results.

Responsibilities include collaboration with Project Managers and field staff, preventative maintenance, and documentation.

Qualifications

Associate degree in electrical technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years in electrical and control system installation, maintenance, and repair, preferably in Conveyor Industry.
Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with AC/DC drives, motors, sensors and other control devices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to travel extensively (up to 80%) with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and control systems for conveyor systems in customer facilities.
Collaborate with Field Services Project Managers, Lead Technicians, customers, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Provide training and technical support to customers on electrical and control systems for conveyor systems.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used.
