Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a remote Collections Specialist to support the nationwide accounts receivable function. The role involves dispute research, developing payment plans and maintaining trusted relationships with customers and internal partners.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2–4 years of relevant work, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer and cross-functional interactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Collect outstanding accounts receivable, including dispute research and payment plans.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Work directly with Service Leader for designated accounts as the single point of contact.
• Prepare and report open accounts receivable balances for assigned accounts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
