Fisher Phillips invites experienced employment attorneys with significant class action experience to join as Counsel or Special Counsel in a Virtual Office role. This mostly remote position focuses on sophisticated employment litigation, particularly wage/hour and other class actions, working with established partners and supervising others.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in employment litigation, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, and active bar membership; California or Washington bar

Qualificações

• More than seven years of employment litigation experience.
• Significant experience defending employers in class and representative actions, particularly wage and hour matters.
• Experience handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
• Active bar membership in good standing; California or Washington bar admission preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement case strategy.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive work product.
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions.
• Represent clients at hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Supervise attorneys and other team members.
• Advise clients on employment law matters and workplace policies as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm.
