Job summary

Lyft is seeking a remote-focused Claims Operations Specialist to support the Risk Team in Nashville. You will balance independent claims processing with cross-functional collaboration to deliver an exceptional claims experience for users.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer support or claims, display empathy, Integrity, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be based in the Nashville metro area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience handling customer support issues in safety or claims environment.
• Empathetic and sensitive to our community while executing on assigned tasks.
• Operates with high standards, integrity and impeccable judgment.
• Excellent listening, communication, verbal, and writing skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with rapid change and uncertainty.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Create initial loss reports and assist with overall processes for Lyft Healthcare, as well as Lyft Bikes & Scooters.
• Respond to and assist with customer inquiries relating to claims.
• Request additional information to complete claim processing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams regarding claims processes and updates.
• Gathers investigative material and supports adjusters and internal claims teams.
• Develops clear written and oral communications/reports for management.
• Support risk, safety, bikes & scooters, express drive, legal, and finance teams on insurance claims.
• Encourage a collaborative team environment with stakeholders.
• Assist with audits and data reconciliation as needed.
