Job summary

Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 4 in Atlanta to enforce and modify child support obligations, locate non-custodial parents, and coordinate with legal and public organizations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year of customer service experience or three years of experience in a customer service setting, or two years of experience at the lower level.

• Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process all child support applications and payments.
• Educate customers on processes and self-service options.
• Perform paternity testing and settlement negotiations for support orders.
• Resolve basic financial inquiries and errors; initiate modification requests.
• Communicate clearly with data and stakeholders; maintain professionalism under pressure.
