Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year customer service experience.
• Three years of experience in customer service setting with communication responsibilities.
• Two years of experience required at the lower-level Child Support Svc Agent 3 (SST062) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review and process all child support applications and payments.
• Educate customers on child support processes and self-service options.
• Negotiate settlements for support orders and administrative actions.
• Resolve basic financial inquiries and errors.
• Initiate review and modification requests.
• Resolve disputes to avoid court intervention.
• Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Maintain organization and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with 1 year customer service

Three years of customer service experience

Two years at lower level Child Support Svc Agent 3 or equivalent
