Job summary

Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 2 to join the team in Atlanta, GA. Under broad supervision, you will establish and enforce child support obligations, coordinating with legal and public organizations to protect the best interests of children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• High school diploma/GED and two years of direct job-related experience, or one year of experience at the lower-level Child Support Services Agent 1 or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and enforces child support obligations.
• Communicates with clients and constituents via telephone, email, correspondence and direct contact.
• Manages a caseload to ensure obligations are met.
• Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
