Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Consultant for CDBG-DR in our Government Services Practice. The role emphasizes HUD regulations, grant management, and compliance assistance for state/local grantees.

The position may be remote or hybrid, offering opportunities to influence program design and policy implementation. Ideal candidates have a strong policy background and experience with GAAP-like federal requirements, along with the ability to develop client deliverables and engage in business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of successful CDBG-DR grant management experience in a compliance or policy-related role.
• Strong policy background, including 2 CFR 200 and 24 CFR 570 compliance requirements, as well as applicable Federal Register Notices.

Responsibilities

• Support CDBG-DR consulting engagements, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Support clients in maintaining compliance with Universal Notice, Stafford Act, 24 CFR 570, 2 CFR 200, and related regulations.
• Assist in designing and implementing disaster recovery programs meeting eligibility requirements and National Objective.
• Help determine method of program implementation and design.
• Draft/evaluate grantee Action Plan Amendments for compliance.
• Develop policies and procedures aligning with regulations and Action Plans.
• Ensure timely/accurate development of client deliverables.
• Engage in business development activities and response to proposals.
• Occasional extended hours and travel to different offices/locations.
