Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Senior Consultant - CDBG-DR in our Government Services Practice to support HUD CDBG-DR programs, ensuring compliance, accurate cost eligibility analyses, and effective disaster recovery design for state and local grantees. You will work with cross‑functional teams to interpret regulations, draft amendments, and deliver client-ready plans and reporting that meet federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of CDBG-DR grant management experience in a compliance or policy-related role.
• Strong policy background with 2 CFR 200 and 24 CFR 570 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support CDBG-DR consulting engagements across planning, execution and delivery.
• Assist clients in maintaining compliance with HUD regulations and Federal Register Notices.
• Design disaster recovery programs meeting eligibility requirements and National Objective.
• Draft/evaluate grantee Action Plan Amendments for compliance.
• Develop policies and procedures aligned with regulations and the grant's Action Plan.
• Ensure timely development of client deliverables.
• Engage in business development and proposal responses; identify funding opportunities.
• Occasionally work extended hours and travel to different offices/locations.
