Job summary

ESPN is seeking a Recurring Remote Associate Director II to support Directors in high-profile studio, remote, and REMI productions. You will mentor ADIs and Stage Managers, provide written feedback, and direct productions to meet on-air standards.

This role emphasizes leadership, quick thinking, and strong communication across teams. The position is part-time in the Los Angeles area with remote work options, offering engagement with diverse content and opportunities to influence show direction

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Directing department or network equivalent.
• Strong understanding of television production.
• Clear, concise verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think quickly under pressure and lead facility and crew.
• Willingness to oversee staff and manage show execution.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned productions; time elements, cues, and framing for on-air standards.
• Mentor ADIs and Stage Managers; provide comprehensive written feedback.
• Coordinate pre-production elements: graphics, promos, and virtual imagery.
• Collaborate with Directors and Production staff on show content and graphics.
