Job summary

AVTECH Global seeks an experienced Aircraft Certification Engineer — Propulsion to support the airworthiness certification of military commercial derivative aircraft (MCDA). You will serve as a technical authority on certification strategies and comply with FAA and military standards. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering and 15+ years of relevant experience. This remote position requires monthly travel to Dayton, OH, with all travel costs covered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in aircraft certification related to propulsion.
• Ability to pass a Tier 1 Investigation for Department of Defense contracts.
• FAA DER authorization in one or more disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME level understanding of engine performance and integration.
• Ensure compliance with FAA and military airworthiness requirements.
• Develop and execute certification plans for MCDA programs.
