AVTECH Global seeks an experienced Aircraft Certification Engineer — Propulsion to support the airworthiness certification of military commercial derivative aircraft (MCDA). You will serve as a technical authority on certification strategies and comply with FAA and military standards. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering and 15+ years of relevant experience. This remote position requires monthly travel to Dayton, OH, with all travel costs covered.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in aircraft certification related to propulsion.
Ability to pass a Tier 1 Investigation for Department of Defense contracts.
FAA DER authorization in one or more disciplines.
Responsibilities
Provide SME level understanding of engine performance and integration.
Ensure compliance with FAA and military airworthiness requirements.
Develop and execute certification plans for MCDA programs.
