Job summary

AVTECH Global is seeking an experienced Aircraft Certification Engineer — Aerodynamics to support the airworthiness certification of military commercial derivative aircraft. The role involves ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, mentoring junior engineers, and developing certification plans. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering and 15+ years of experience in aircraft certification. Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in aircraft certification related to aerodynamics.
• Prior experience with military commercial derivative aircraft programs preferred.
• FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER) authorization in one or more disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical SME for aircraft certification, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
• Develop, review and execute certification plans for MCDA programs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to developing certification processes.
