Job summary

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH) is seeking an experienced Aircraft Certification Engineer — Systems to support airworthiness certification for military derivatives. You will bridge FAA 14 CFR Part 25 requirements with MIL-HDBK-516C standards and collaborate with government and prime contractors to ensure compliant, on-schedule certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years in aircraft certification related to aircraft systems.
• Experience with FAA type certification or STC programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and execute MCDA certification plans.
• Serve as SME for certification strategies across FAA and MIL-HDBK-516C.
• Interface with military airworthiness authorities and DER/DAR representatives.
