Job summary

AVTECH Global is seeking an Aircraft Certification Engineer — Software Systems to support airworthiness certification of military commercial derivative aircraft. This remote role requires collaboration with government and contractors to ensure compliant and safe aircraft certification.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and over 15 years of relevant experience, focusing on FAA type certification. Monthly travel to Dayton, OH is required, with all travel costs covered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in aircraft certification related to software systems.
• Ability to pass a Tier 1 Investigation for DoD contracts.
• FAA DER authorization in relevant disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME understanding of embedded software for aircraft systems.
• Serve as technical SME for aircraft certification.
• Develop and execute certification plans for MCDA programs.
