TECKpert, a Miami-based tech consultancy, seeks a Senior Software Developer with Remedy or BMC Helix ITSM experience to support a local government client in Miami-Dade County. This contract role is US-based only, with potential extensions.

You will work hands-on on Remedy/Helix ITSM for billing workflows, ERP integrations, and dashboards, ensuring timely fiscal close and accurate data processing. Strong documentation and ability to work under deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

3–5 years hands-on Remedy or BMC Helix ITSM development.
Experience configuring billing workflows and integrations.
Proven ability to troubleshoot financial data structures and billing processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and maintain Remedy or BMC Helix ITSM applications with emphasis on billing workflows.
Troubleshoot chartfields, financial data structures, and billing/invoicing workflow failures.
Integrate Remedy/Helix ITSM with ERP systems (PeopleSoft/INFORMS preferred).
Analyze failed billing tasks, identify root causes, and reprocess workflow items end-to-end.
Update billing logic, automation rules, and workflow configurations.
Support fiscal year-end prep and stabilization of workflows for close-out.
Develop and modify dashboards within Remedy/Helix ITSM.
Document system changes, configurations, and knowledge transfer.
