Job summary

Smithfield Foods in the United States is seeking a Senior Reliability Manager to lead reliability and maintenance performance across multiple facilities, driving improvements in asset health, uptime, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). You will shape strategic programs and develop organizational capability to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

You will partner with Operations, Food Safety, Quality, Safety and Engineering, mentor teams, and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading maintenance programs across multiple facilities.
• Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Experience utilizing SAP PM to drive maintenance effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Drive maintenance and reliability strategies across operations.
• Lead engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to deliver results.
• Serve as a technical resource for critical equipment and outages.
• Identify system-wide opportunities to standardize best practices.
• Partner with Operations, Food Safety, Quality, Safety and Engineering.
• Champion safety and regulatory compliance.
