Job summary

Smithfield Foods in North Carolina is seeking a Senior Reliability Manager to lead reliability and maintenance performance across multiple facilities, driving asset health, uptime, and operational efficiency.

You will develop and execute reliability strategies, build capabilities, and partner with Operations, Quality, Safety and Engineering to deliver safe, cost-effective operations. Willingness to travel 50%+ is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
5+ years in maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing leadership.
Experience leading maintenance and reliability programs across multiple facilities.
Experience with RCM, RCA, and preventive/predictive maintenance methodologies.
Experience using SAP PM or CMMS systems.
Proficient in engineering economics and MS Office.
Willing to travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

Drive reliability excellence across operations with predictive and preventive maintenance.
Lead and develop engineering, maintenance and operations teams.
Serve as a technical resource for critical equipment issues and outages.
Identify system-wide improvements to reduce waste and optimize cost.
