Job summary

Smithfield Foods seeks a Senior Reliability Manager to lead reliability and maintenance performance across multiple facilities, driving asset health and operational efficiency. You will shape maintenance strategies and partner across the business to deliver safe, reliable operations.

You will build capability, lead engineering, maintenance and operations teams, and travel to sites as needed to implement improvements and sustain cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline and 5+ years in maintenance, reliability, engineering leadership.
• Experience leading maintenance and reliability programs across multiple facilities.
• Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and RCA; experience with PM/PPM.
• Experience using SAP PM or CMMS to drive maintenance effectiveness.
• Proficient in engineering economics and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Drive maintenance and reliability strategy across operations, including predictive and preventive maintenance and RCA.
• Lead engineering, maintenance and operations teams to deliver exceptional results and close skill gaps.
• Resolve critical equipment issues, prevent outages, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Standardize best practices across facilities and improve OEE.
• Partner with Operations, Food Safety, Quality and Safety teams to drive alignment.
• Champion safety and compliance with company standards across plants.
