Job summary

Silanna Semiconductor in San Diego, CA is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead the reliability program across process, packaging and product qualification, with cross‑functional collaboration and ongoing monitoring. You will develop robust test plans, drive hardware design and qualification, execute HTOL/ESD/latch‑up tests, review results and publish internal and customer reliability reports.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 4+ years in reliability engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of JEDEC and AEC‑Q reliability standards.
• Detail‑oriented with strong cross‑functional communication.
• Experience with SMUs, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
• Experience debugging hardware and validating boards.
• Ability to read schematics and layout drawings.
• Understanding HTOL/ESD/latch‑up reliability tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability test plans for new products.
• Drive hardware design, schematic, layout, and fabrication for reliability.
• Execute HTOL, ESD, and latch‑up stress tests in labs.
• Debug reliability hardware and products for stress readiness.
• Manage qualification schedules and test travelers.
• Coordinate test samples with internal and external labs.
• Analyze test data and report reliability results.
• Publish internal and customer reliability reports.
