Job summary

Investigo seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer for hardware systems in San Francisco. You will lead reliability efforts across electromechanical programs, applying Design for Reliability throughout the product lifecycle to proactively mitigate failure risks and ensure long-term quality.

You will translate FMEA and reliability analyses into robust test plans, plan and run DOE to isolate root causes, and design test fixtures for electrical, thermal, mechanical, and environmental stresses while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on reliability engineering experience in electromechanical systems or sensors.
• Proven track record in testing and validating hardware for long-term field performance.
• Familiarity with FMEA, Weibull analysis, SPC, HALT/HASS, and accelerated life testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability engineering across hardware programs to meet performance and durability requirements.
• Apply Design for Reliability principles throughout the product lifecycle.
• Translate FMEA and risk analyses into test plans with defined objectives and pass/fail criteria.
• Plan and execute DOE to isolate root causes of reliability concerns.
• Design and optimize test fixtures for electrical, thermal, mechanical, and environmental stresses.
• Drive failure analysis with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
