Job summary

Axcelis Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Engineer focused on Reliability to lead multiple reliability projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

You will develop reliability plans, DFMEAs, and test protocols, perform thermo-mechanical simulations, analyze data, and work with service teams worldwide to improve products. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in Reliability Engineering.
• Experience with reliability and statistical analysis software (Reliasoft, Windchill, Minitab).
• Semiconductor capital equipment experience with SEMI-standard reliability metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and lead qualification in support of release.
• Develop reliability plans, DFMEAs, and test protocols for accelerated and growth tests.
• Develop reliability models and perform thermo-mechanical simulations at component level.
• Travel to customer sites as required; collaborate with multiple service and engineering teams.
