Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer for the PAC-3 Launcher Sustainment Reliability Team. You will lead FRACAS, trend development, and data analysis to deliver actionable metrics to program stakeholders and drive corrective actions across development and field service.

You will work with design/quality/chief engineers and program managers to surface risks early, quantify them, and recommend design or process changes to improve reliability and reduce lifecycle cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of hands on reliability engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in FRACAS and trend analysis.
• Strong root cause analysis, risk assessment, and data interpretation capabilities; comfortable working with large data sets and generating actionable insights.
• Proficiency with reliability analysis standards (MIL STD 1629A, IEC60812).
• Strong knowledge of failure physics, degradation mechanisms, and material behavior under stress.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FRACAS process and trending development; provide actionable metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design/quality/chief engineers, and program managers to surface risks early and drive corrective actions.
• Identify failure modes, assign criticality rankings, document mitigation strategies and track through development phases.
• Analyze test data, generate reliability growth curves, and report findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Mentor junior reliability engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
