Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead FRACAS Systems Engineer to evaluate and improve the reliability of DoD communications systems, including wideband, narrowband, and SATCOM. You will manage the FRACAS process, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to enhance product reliability.

The role involves coordinating with multiple engineering and quality teams, maintaining the FRACAS database, and delivering technical data to management and customers.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 9+ years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 7+ years; or 13+ years in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Lead FRACAS processes for DoD communications systems, identifying failures and recommending design improvements.
Direct investigations, determine root causes of failures across design, production and field issues.
Coordinate with FRACAS, FRB, engineering, manufacturing, programs, and quality to drive corrective actions and reports.
Maintain FRACAS database, track investigations, and produce status reports for management and customers.
Develop and present technical data for management and customer reviews.
Possess ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
